This add-on coolant gauge kit come with 2" gauge with stand,  22 foot long signal cable, a calibrated coolant sendor with adapter.
 
It replaces stock VW coolant temp sendor, the one sending temp to instrument cluster with a calibrated, more precise temperature sendor.
 
gauge is calibrated with sender and to be installed on the thermostat housing where closest to engine and get more accuracty engine coolant temperature.
 
low coolant level warning feature not affected.
