License Plate Light Repair

3D print ABS license plate light holder and a semi-transparent lens, made from flexible material. Replace the broken and aging stock license plate light.

Lens is made from flexible material and is semi-transparent makes it stronger

Pull it out in this direction. this white holder is an early prototype.

Final product is black color ABS plastic.

Remove two screws and the light bulb, then the lens can be removed

Separate bulb holder and the rubber from the old housing.

Install bulb holder and the rubber boot to the new housing

Test it before install it

make them this direction

Align the metal sheet to the upper edge of the housing and slide it in.

it should be like this now.
